- This is actually a very interesting and important study. The reason this is interesting is because while there has been a lot of our recent conversation with regard to stroke and dementia, this study actually takes it much further by investigating the connection between not just the association between stroke and dementia, but also looking at the severity of stroke and risk of dementia and the number of strokes, and it's important because not only it makes the point that there is a strong relation between these factors but also it's done in a very strong methodological way. So the overall quality of this abstract is excellent.
