- The assessment or for retinopathy is a very important test to look for retinopathy and to see whether we wanna treat it. What this study is doing is allowing us to take this diagnostic technique and applying it to looking at stroke risk and putting it with our other risk factors that we would see with stroke risk. The other nice piece of the assessment of retinopathy it's relatively simple to do. And it fits into that mode of Telehealth where we would be able to do things at a distance. Maybe even through a phone that we would use take a picture of our eyes and being able to send it and get that type of diagnosis as well. Something that we could do down the road but it can be a very, very simple, easy to do technique and also not very expensive, not adding a lot to the cost of determining what stroke risk are. It can be applied and then we can work on preventive strategies for preventing a stroke, if a person seems to have a high risk for stroke.
