Offering perspective on AHA Scientific Sessions 2020 Presentation P223 copyright American Heart Association 2020 "They included over 100,000 people, and examined use of influenza vaccination which is a very important preventative measure or strategy that we can use to cut down on complications from influenza as well as influenza, especially among those that are at high risk for complications, as the investigators noted which are people that have had a history of myocardial infarction, that have heart failure, have angina or stroke. So, this is very important data overall to show the necessity or the dire need to increase visibility of influenza vaccine to increase knowledge, especially among younger adults who in this study had a low percentage of having had been vaccinated with influenza vaccine."
