Offering perspective on AHA Scientific Sessions 2020 Presentation P1732 copyright American Heart Association 2020 "We knew from their primary presentation and the publication, the lancet that the outflow track gradient that you measure with echo, the pressure differential across the obstruction, was substantially diminished with the mavacamten compared to placebo. However, what we're seeing in this abstract is a lot more detail about the echo findings, and it suggest that the pressures within the heart are lower, and it suggest that there may be some regression of the thickening as well from the lower pressures. In all of which go along with what we already knew from the primary results of the trial, but are really quite interesting."
