Offering perspective on AHA Scientific Sessions 2020 Presentations P1916 and P380 copyright American Heart Association 2020 "Both of these abstracts reflect what we've already reported within our clinical science statement that there is a signal for the potential for cardiovascular toxicity particularly with strokes which was very interesting because that has been associated particularly with younger adults. And again, the one that the thing we don't know is whether or not these, the type of marijuana that was or cannabis that was being used was either first or second generation. Second generation is what I consider to be what you would buy within a dispensary. My thought is because these data are greater than 2013 that could be the case but it's hard to know. And again these are all associations. These associations again are red flags and we need to be asking these questions and also being aware of it. The American Heart Association, our clinical science statement, I believe provides an excellent review of the literature up to date as well as highlights some of the mechanisms behind why we might be seeing what we're seeing particularly and with regards to the PCI data from Dr.Liu. I found that pretty, pretty intriguing as well."
